Can you put an animation as your default?

I tried but its never animated 4  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

Most of the time when you add an animated image as your profile image, the size of the image will have to be changed to fit the maximum size that your profile image can go. When this change is made your animated image will no longer be animated, anytime an animated images size is changed the animation will stop.
