Ahhh!

I'm trying to make my home page look amazing with tables. When I add a table, I only want one column, so I select that, then I want to make a separate table with one column so that the rows don't become mixed. After that first table is on the page, I hit the SPACEBAR and the cursor automatically moves to the next line when there is still plenty of room to the right of the table. I'm confused and now my home page looks bad because I'm just trying to fix it! Ahhh please help if you can!!!

You need to select text wrap around the table. You can have it to the left of the table, to the right of the table or below the table. Right click on the table and select edit table. From there you will be able to select the desired wrapping of your text. Your text wrapping is setup for below the table which is the default .

While this isn't the best answer, it might work. What I would do if I were you is try to create your tables inside of a larger table. Not easy, mind you, but if the wrapping and alignment changing isn't working, you could try that.

I joined your site and created a page titled Test Home Page. There are instructions on that page to show you how to use tables to construct the layout of pages on your site. There are several examples on that page. Once you understand the use of tables shown on that page. you can delete the page. Hope this helps you.

YW...when you are using tables on your page...use the 1main table to zone the page - that is how many columns you want across the page. 2 columns =2 zones 3 columns =3 zones. etc, The use other tables inside the zones (cells) pf the main table to position your content vertically within the zone.
