"I was wondering if somebody could please give me some advice about what can be done about members joining our site from another site to cause trouble and delete page contents? Thanks!"Ban these members, if they are causing trouble, you need to ban these members. It is the easiest thing to do. Do you find this valuable? |

They have been banned but either join under another username or their friends do

You can also make your site a Writer-Only site, so they won't be able to edit your site that easily.

I'm not actually the creator of the site, a good friend of mine is. I'm a moderator on there.

Maybe you should try contacting the Creator asking about the permission, otherwise, I do not think I can help you any further. Do you find this valuable? |

You should just be ever vigilant, Nic, and make sure you lock any pages which do not need to be edited by registered users.

Almost all of my pages on the New Moon fansite are locked! It prevents registered user and anonymous users from destroying your wiki. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
