Hi, I just started to create my wetpaint website less than a week ago, but I haven't seen the EasyEdit button on my homepage. I have repeatedly signed on to my site over the last couple of days, but the button is not there. This is very frustrating since I barely started my site. I would appreciate it if someone could help me out!
Thanks!

I had a problem similar to this, except I think it may just have been to computer, which was from around 1998. I would click the EasyEdit button, and it would begin to load. But then it would not stop loading, and when I tried to close it, it woulse close! Then my foster-mother spilled water on the laptop, and so we got a new one, which works perfectly!
My thoughts there are, "Thanks Mom!"

Users are not able to join a private site by invitation at this time. The solution is to change your site permissions so that it is not private and invited members will then be able to join. Once the members have joined you can change the site back to private. How to change site permissions settings - http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Site+Permissions+Settings

RE: Invites and Private Sites - not working

"PPC (Pay Per Click) is declining for the most part as a venue for ad-sharing. The advertising industry is trending towards "Impressions". That means how many of my ads are being displayed by your company on its' pages. The normal count of impressions before there is any revenue sharing is 100,000 impressions. So it really doesn't matter how many eyeballs see the ad or clicks are made to an ad.
Here is a recap of why private sites may not be offered or supported further into the future as presented in threads and notices on this wiki.
1. The Ad suppliers say "THEY" do not want their ads on a private site where they cannot see them. 2. The amount of resources it took to test and roll out new features on private sites was twice that of public sites. 3. Wetpaint had to streamline its operation and again the first trimmings one will see in any organzation when trimming is necessary is man-power. Wetpaint lost 27 percent of its workforce. Next, a company will look towards trimming offers that are not aligned to the mainstream operation. Wetpaint is an ad-supported operation.
I am only trying to present facts here and not offer an opinion. Please view this information as such. See reply number 8 for a more detailed explanation. " You are correct CD. Thank you for saying that since I didn't see that. Thanks.

I like this update. The one-click access to my inbox is just another little update that saves time, and I think that's great. I haven't experimented with the Featured Content module, but the idea is good. I'm also happy that the broken links found all around Wetpaint have been fixed in this release.

Any feedback would be appreciated for this release.
I for one have noted that when you deleted a thread, it now vanishes from the Updates reports.

If you need help, please try the two options below before making a post in the forums: 1. Read the FAQ: http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/FAQ.Most likely the answer to your question is already explained in Frequently Asked Questions so please look through this area before you post your question in the forums. 2. Search Threads There is a good chance your question has already been asked and answered in the discussion forums. You can search the forums by first clicking on the "Discussions" tab. Then, enter your search term into the "Search threads" box on the right hand side of the page. For example, if you are having trouble adding a photo to your site, then you could enter the words "add photo" into the "Search threads" box and search for all threads which include those two words.
