"That's..... a pity. Taking both away has caused more complaining then having them equipptd to wetpaint. It made wetpaint special. Now wetpaint feels like a weaker form of a forum or another type of site. Wetpaint 500, or an enhanced version needs to come back. If not, small sites will die. Thus only leaving bigger sites. And with bigger sites having basically the same information as the small ones. Then the smaller ones will serve close to no purpose.

The wetpaint 500 was fun, I loved it. I used to go on many sites for it, but now my site hopping that really come to a stop and now I use mainly one. Others think the same I do. I talked to about ten - fifteen other wetpaint users on a chat system, and they feel very dissapointed with this.

I'm not putting you guys down. But this needs to change. Or all the small sites + some members will leave wetpaint. Think long term. Very hard about this. Short term is the wetpaint 500 arguments. Long term is having two hundred or less active sites."

"I really like the idea of both. #2 especially. but I think you should make sure your domain is spelled right before you create it. It isn't very hard to do.

The main use for #1 would be if you made your site and you named it "Sherlock Holmes Info" and you decided about a year later that name sucked, and you wanted a new one, so you made it "Sherlock Holmes Fan Wiki." You would have to change the domain to make it look right. It would be weird to have the domain "sherlockholmesinfo.wetpaint.com" when your site's name is "Sherlock Holmes Fan Wiki."

I have 3 websites, 2 of them show the easy edit button when I sign in and 1 site does not show the easy edit button when I sign in. I have signed into the 1 site 8 times and still no easy edit button.

"So you are telling me that if you dont have Explorer 8 or firefox you cant use easy edit. WELL you are shutting out a whole lot of people that way and that really sucks. I will spread the word and no one will go there. We have heard there are a lot of explorer 8 browser problems AND i am building a web site and know that i am making my coding as such that ANYONE can see my site. AND its really easy. Sounds like yall have a lazy xhtml coder on staff"
