need a better way to "undo" or delete in easy edit

the "undo" arrow only works for selections made from the toolbar - not cut/paste keyboard shortcuts. and it appears it only undoes the last action. i had to "cancel" out of what i was working on and start over simply because i could not delete a table i had cut/paste from excel. consider allowing ctrl Z (and recognition of other keyboard editing shortcuts) or providing an interface to cycle back through your edit history (e.g. photoshop history palette) to undo work. Do you find this valuable?
