would like the 'premium option' for using wetpaint without advertising
Nov 13 2007, 12:06 PM EST also want to be able to turn off all access for non-registered users, and of course, an API would be clutch. also want to be able to turn off different site features, like Discussion Forums, etc. And customize the look/feel, of course. my company could pretty easily be convinced to pay $50/mo for that. it would be inexpensive compared to salesforce's $9,000/mo or whatever it is they are charging these days. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Nov 13 2007, 2:29 PM EST We don't have any plans to offer a paid version of Wetpaint at this time, but we appreciate your feedback. Right now we are focused on providing the best consumer friendly free wiki service on the web. We will certainly keep your suggestions in mind if we ever decide to change our business model. Dec 28 2007, 4:31 PM EST good idea jeremy i think wetpaint should stay on a free plan because if it plans to pay some peoples website will hve better... things and they will most probobly get angry over that... so i recomend keeping it on free... what do you think... Do you find this valuable? |

RE: would like the 'premium option' for using wetpaint without advertising
Apr 3 2008, 1:08 PM EDT A NGO that I'm involved with would also like to use Wetpaint; I have been pushing the idea and have done up a test model. It is working quite well. Everyone is very impressed with the site/Wetpaint and can't stop raving about it! (Love the new profile template btw). However before we go LIVE, the Orginasition and it's clients have raised valid issues with the advertising. Our site is for survivors of trauma, with various capability issues, they may not understand that the advertising is not linked with us...if they click through and get into trouble...it's a potential problem for our community/orginasition. This org would easily be convinced to pay $50/mo for no advertising also... so would you reconsider your position on that? Alternatively, does anyone have a suggestion about how I could best obtain access to a similar interface like wetpaint...but without the advertising. Does that exist? Very much looking forward to your perspectives on this. GeishaSun Do you find this valuable? |

Apr 3 2008, 1:55 PM EDT There is a program where you can buy custom wikis on Wetpaint. http://www.wetpaint.com/page/Partner-With-Wetpaint--Professional-Services This is about getting a custom wiki. Not sure how much it costs. 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Apr 3 2008, 3:31 PM EDT Sure, lathermiah.wetpaint.com But I am not paying for customization. I don't want it. All I am doing is telling you of this custom wiki design that some people may consider. Do you find this valuable? |

Apr 3 2008, 3:38 PM EDT You can embed games. But my game is a different type of online as its technically not on the website. You download the game and you will be able to play the second version with other players. Still online only not embedded in my website. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
