If you go to the page where you want the attachment to appear, there's an option in the Toolbox (on the right) for Add Attachment. The Attachments report just shows all of the attachments on the entire wiki in a convenient place.
Do you find this valuable?

my sense of the question which is the same thing I would like is to be able to have the link to the attachment in-line with the text of the page. So that the reader would see the link as they are reading and not have to scroll to the bottom of the page to find the attachment among all the other links at the bottom of the pages. This would make the page far more readable and user friendly. Thanks for your time. Do you find this valuable? |

The inability to have attachment next to a description on a particular page will probably move me to another personal wiki site. It's a shame, because this site has so many other useful tools.

First, as previously mentioned, add your attachment to the desired page using the Toolbox, which will be then be displayed at the bottom of the page.Simply click on the link of the attachment to open it and copy the URL displayed in the browser's URL address. You can then paste this URL address as the target in any desired text link that you create on any page. Alternatively, you may "right click" on the added attachment to "copy this link" instead of opening the attachment to get the URL too. 6 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you? |
