I have a wetpaint site: www.piratescsg.net.
I was wondering how I could have that in the page toolbox I could have a section to other viewers that says "Apply to be a Writer". A friend of mine has that and i was wondering how i could get it. Thanks! Please Reply! Help!

The "Apply to be a writer" option only appears on sites that have their permissions scheme set so that users have to be invited in order to contribute. If your site allows any registered user or anonymous user to contribute then the Apply to be a writer option is not needed. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

The site doesn't have to be private. The "Writer" role is only needed on sites that require invitation in order to edit pages. On sites that don't require invitation these people are called "Registered Users" and the "Writer" role does not exist.
