I have noticed that the advertisements on my wiki seem to be about Jesus and other Christian sites. I think it is cool that you put them on there to match my site, but I want to make sure none of them are against my religion. Like, there have been some weird ones lately, that I am not sure about. Is there any way to choose them or something?

We don't really "control them" per se. The ads come from Google Adsense. When Google crawls a page it looks at what the content of the page is and then serves up ads that seem relevant to what it has seen on the page. This is an automated system. There's no live person sitting at the controls somewhere deciding what ads to put on everyone's site.

If something really offensive slips past Google and ends up in the ads let us know and we can filter it out. We can't cherry pick specific ads that you want on your site though.

There should be a block ad feature for the site administrator on Wetpaint as there is said to be on other websites. It is extremely offensive that the word Women in a page should trigger Sexy Singles and weight loss ads - this is just as offensive as if a sex ad appeared on a Jesus site or a meat ad appeared on a vegetarian site. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. it seems that wetpaint has its own god. however as someone who is not swayed by an ad for any religion on my pages is considered pornographic. and 'something really offensive' to me and those who would visit my pages. you said 'let us know and we can filter it out', so a means of control does exist.

while we are not into other forms of porn, ads not relevent ( or at least declared allowable ) to the page must not appear.
can we include 'tags' or such to help controlling this
