I WOULD Like to be able to export my site
Aug 29 2007, 4:28 PM EDT Your tool is very cool. However, I would like the ability to export my site and be able to run it on my own server if needed. SImilar to the way WordPress allows users to export their blog to post on their own server. Is this or could this be possible?? 4 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

Sep 12 2007, 1:27 PM EDT We are still in the process of evaluating our options as far as this kind of feature goes. I hope that we can offer an export feature, but have no idea how far off this might be at this point. Do you find this valuable? |

Oct 5 2007, 8:37 PM EDT "I would also like to be able to run it on my own server. This is a great wiki."Wetpaint is a hosted service. We don't have any plans to change this, but we would like to offer an export/backup option at some point. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: I WOULD Like to be able to export my site/ create book
Jul 22 2008, 7:04 AM EDT "You now can export a site to your Computer."I'm using it basically to create an online resource with my students - in a way they are writing their textbook together. It would be great if we could export it as text/word/doc and then create an actual book from it (using book creation software). So for this, an export as other than HTML would be good. Do you find this valuable? |
