"The Remember Me checkbox sets the expiration on your login cookie to two weeks.
Remember Me only works if you don't sign out. If you sign out, we invalidate the cookie and you have to get a new one.
It also only sets that cookie on one computer. If you go to another computer, it won't remember you.
Logging in with a different account will also invalidate the older cookie that you had previously set to Remember Me.

If you want your browser to remember your login and password, I suggest using your browsers password feature.
