how do you add a hit counter?

I am haveing a hard time trying to add a hit counter. Help! 3  out of 5 found this valuable. Do you?

You need to do that throgh SiteMeter or Google Analytics.

Google Analytics

Hello,
I have been using <a href="http://gostats.com">GoStats.com</a> , it is very simple:
-Register on their site.
-Add your website
-Cliec on generate code option, you will be provided with a code snippet, you just need to copy and paste it to your site code.
