RE: adding a table of content
Jun 7 2007, 1:19 PM EDT Sure, Wetpaint doesn't have a feature for that, but you could manually create a table of contents by using the existing features on the EasyEdit toolbar. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jun 8 2007, 1:12 PM EDT Links would have to point to a seperate page. Wetpaint does not support anchor linking at this time. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jan 13 2008, 10:49 AM EST This is in my mind one of the very few drawbacks for wetpaint - the widgit on pbwiki is really useful - any chance of seeing something ? Do you find this valuable? |

RE: adding a table of content
Mar 16 2008, 11:06 PM EDT I've built an inital Wiki on WetPaint, but was sorely nising anchor linking and Table of Contents. Tried using Google's new Wiki (Sites,ex JotSpot I think). One thing they had that WetPaint did'nt was Auto Table of Contents with Links, with 4 levels of header. Would really like to see that here on WetPaint. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: adding a table of content
Mar 17 2008, 4:47 AM EDT I think the new refresh on wetpaint is very welcome - still lacks this feature though, I think in terms of navigation within pages it is an extremely important addition that we could do with 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Mar 17 2008, 4:55 AM EDT I would also love the ability to add anchor links, it is a very commonly suggested feature, it will become very handy for long reviews on my gaming wiki. Do you find this valuable? |

Mar 17 2008, 10:12 AM EDT You can do but that doesnt help really when you have a large number of users who want an ease of use solution Do you find this valuable? |

RE: adding a table of content
Mar 17 2008, 10:19 AM EDT I think Digital is confusing an over view of the site with breaking dowen pages into bite sized chunks - PBwiki do this really well - Id still opt for Wetpaint but this gives you a good idea of what I would be looking for Do you find this valuable? |

RE: adding a table of content
Mar 17 2008, 10:20 AM EDT I just wanted to say that I like the idea of having a table of contents feature/anchor linking. It would definitely make pages look more user friendly and appear more organized. *thumbs up* :-) Hope it see this feature added. Keep up the good work, Jeremy and crew! Do you find this valuable? |

This is the next best thing wetpaint can offer. This is the only thing that can auto-create a table of contents at the moment. You can also manually create your own table but this is just easier. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Wetpaint does automatic content tables for each page on the site? I think you mean with certain templates, for then true, it creates a 'table of contents', but once you start adding your own pages it doesn't update the table of contents does it. And btw, Ctrl + F is great, but anchor linking is more efficient. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: adding a table of content
Mar 17 2008, 10:53 AM EDT Ctrl + F is doing me for now. But I would like this feature. The sitemap creates an automatic table of contents. Wetpaint auto-updates it everytime you add a page. Just put a link on your site eg. http://lathermiah.wetpaint.com/ then add page/sitemap/ to the end of it so you get this http://lathermiah.wetpaint.com/page/sitemap/ It does update the table of contents as you can see on the last link.
