"A service option idea for whoever is working the "message system" programming:



It would be a handy feature if from our main accounts page (or any single page at all) we could see a listing of ALL the messages we have sitting in our mailboxes at ALL the wiki's where we have messages waiting.



Not sure if this is an options others would like or not. But I thought I'd share the thought with you just the same in case it's something the team deemed worthy of pursuing."

"We considered global messaging versus site by site messaging when we initially started developing the feature. We went in a site specific direction with the messaging in order to avoid some of the spam issues. I think a global notification system is a great idea though. We have lots of ideas for improvements we can make to messaging and we will continue to work towards them as some of the higher priority features are implemented or resolved.
