There are other free webhosting services that provide 1 gb storage space.Wetpaint does not meet the needs of a site that i dream of.Atleast they should allow a 500 mb 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

If you need a lot of space for attachments you can always use a file hosting service and link to it from your Wetpaint pages. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Not always. Some sites like esnips.com do not make it easy or possible to directly link to files. Are there any considerations in the works for having a Premium account with higher storage capacity? Do you find this valuable?

There are no plans at this time. We get very few requests for an increase in storage space and many other free hosting services allow linking.

Linking is not at all effective users have to go to another page to download which is not good.Wetpaint is really good but the problem is storage space.Atleast a 500 mb should be allowed. Not many people say about it because when they search for webhosting and see just 20 mb of space the people who want some space wont come here so no suggestions will be given.I admire wetpaint in all ways but this is a big negative point 1  out of 1 found this valuable. At this time there is no limitation on the amount of content that you can add to a Wetpaint site. The only storage limitation is on the attachment feature. Wetpaint is not a file hosting service, so if there is any way to add your information as page content, that's the way to go. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Wetpaint tries to use its storage space on Images, and Site Features, they did raise it from 500 KB to 1 MB, also you can only upload 20 attachments!

Thanks!

Our next release is more than a week away, so we won't be able to change the storage limits by then even if we wanted to. Do you find this valuable?

In our competitive assessments (which we do constantly) we haven't found any free web hosting service that allows collaborative creation or the ease-of-use that Wetpaint offers. I wish you (whoever you are) luck.

There are so many other services that allow storage and even linking. We allow attachments for the times that isn't possible. Uploading and serving files takes more than just storage space on our end. It requires dedicated file servers, far more bandwidth, and more rack space at our hosting facility. We simply cannot offer large amounts of storage in addition to the free service.

Just what are you looking to do with Wetpaint that it can't already do? If you tell us, maybe we can help you find a way.

When you say "What are they then..." What are you referring to? Do you mean, "What are the names and locations of storage space sites?"

If that's the question then your best bet would be to run a search in your favorite search engine using the words "free storage space" or something similar. I'm sure you'll have plenty of pages made available to you to look through.

I have a fan site and it requires lots of space at the moment it is under construction and as the storage is low the downloads page is deleted for now.If more space is provide in one month i will show how much publicity my site will get and webhosting is not effective as you have to go to another page to download and the link to my site is
