Apr 17 2007, 1:00 PM EDT Not at the moment, but it's certainly a possibility that we may consider as a future Wetpaint feature. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jun 7 2007, 7:50 PM EDT It would be really cool if pay-for-ad-exemption was a possibility. Either a flat fee or visitor-based fee would surely find wide adoption. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jun 8 2007, 1:42 PM EDT Wetpaint does not have the business infrastructure in place to handle a subscription based system at this time. Perhaps this is something we can do at some point in the future, but it would require some serious development and changes to our existing business model. Thanks for the suggestion. 3 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Ad Content
Aug 26 2008, 6:44 AM EDT Wetpaint is great but the ads are a big negative... keep the ads for those that want a free wiki but allow either a one time payment or a premium subscription for others that want a more professional use of the service. Open a PayPal business account and put a PayPal button on as a subscription or one time payment option... they will take care of the headaches of subscriptions or one time payments and the integration of their API is a sinch... common guys take Wetpaint to the next level and also make yourself some decent money in the process and allow you users to choose the level of integration they want. 3 out of 3 found this valuable.
