Private Pages....
Feb 27 2007, 5:23 PM EST
There should be a way to lock certain pages, like password protect them. That would work VERY nicely. Because there are certain parts of the sites that I would like to restrict to certain users. Is there anyway of doing this??????????????????

You can lock the page you created. When you're in edit mode of the page, choose the Manage drop down box on the right side bar. Theres a Lock this page option. Choose this and no one but you amd your group of moderators can edit the page.

Wetpaint doesn't have an option for private or password protected pages at this time, but thanks for the suggestion. This is something we may consider doing as a future site enhancement.

You can post images that are hosted on a site on the web, or images from your computer. I'm not familiar with vlinkyou.com.

"Do you think you ca put in images from vlinkyou.com?"I meant to type BLINKYOU.COM. Either way, where do you upload the code? 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

It depends what kind of image you're trying to post. If you're trying to post a regular image use the process outlined here:http://wetpaintcentral.wetpaint.com/help#imageAdd To use an animated image, the process a slightly different than for posting a standard picture. Find your desired image on the internet, and right-click it. Select Copy. Now go to your Wetpaint site and click the “EasyEdit” button. Paste your image into the location, and click Save. Be sure not to edit any properties of the image or the result will be something other than you probably wanted. Refresh the page and you will find that the image is not a single frame like it would be if you uploaded it from your computer. Do you find this valuable? |
