"The CSI Wiki and a handful of other high profile sites do not have Google Adsense ads on them due to a contractual agreements we have arranged with partners such as CBS. These sites do have advertising on them, but they may have a different format than most Wetpaint sites. At this time, Wetpaint does not have the infrastructure set up to run a subscription based system for our users to pay for ad free sites, but this may be something we implement in the future."
