Hello, WPC Staff.This random RU called "TheHackerGuy" joined our site and did nothing but root out unlocked pages so that he/ she could delete all the content and replace it with his/ her signatures: :P howdy :) :) hi TheHackerGuy even had the nerve to post a load of sexually explicit/ licentious information on one of our threads, and (to my utter horror) began to "sexually molest" some our our users' characters who were involved in roleplay (his/ her posts were deleted by our staff... so the situation has been contained). TheHackerGuy is now banned permanently from NGOG (Noble Guardians of Ga 'Hoole) but I'm afraid that he/ she will return as an anonymous user to continue "unfinished business". Is there a way that you can ban this user from all sites on the Wetpaint platform for his/ her unruliness and outright disregard of our policies, or at least find out his/ her IP address, along with all the names of his/ her user profiles on the Wetpaint system? This person came onto our site with the sole intent to cause havoc and raise the ire of our staff members. I have a vague suspicion of who this person is, but I am not obliged to disclose such information in a public setting. In any case, I want to make sure that TheHackerGuy never returns to our site... I count it a blessing that our site wasn't completely ransacked, as was the case of many wolf RPG sites that I've visited, where the administrators themselves tore apart the sites and posted slanderous messages on their sites' homepages. If there's anything you can do to help me find out the names of any alternative RU profiles for TheHackerGuy on the WP system, I would appreciate it immensely! If he/ she has another existing user profile on NGOG, I would like to get rid of it as soon as possible. Thanks for your consideration! -Grand Do you find this valuable? |

The only way to ban him from the platform is through Jeremy, and he is currently on a 10-day vacation with no internet access.He is also the only one who can see any other account made by the same user. If he does come back as an Anonymous user, ban his IP. He wont be able to make another account under his IP. -Clay Do you find this valuable? |

As a little information;the wolf RPG sites haven't been destroyed by people like the individual that tried to flood yours. It's simply the big amount of competition going on between these sites, causing them to literally destroy each other. In short; you have little to fear. Persons like "TheHackerGuy" are exceptions that can be easily removed by banning the IP address, like Naru2008 posted above. :) ~Rimfaxe Do you find this valuable? |

Well, for a site like NGOG that promotes honor, wisdom, world-peace, and lifetime prosperity... the Wolf RPGs are out of control. Period. We've blocked all WarriorCats/ Wolf RPG sites from affiliating with us... not just as a safety precaution, but also because of the kind of ruffians that take joy in that kind of bloodsport; that is, preying upon the innocent to satisfy their egocentricities... and Wetpaint Wolf RPGs are cess-pools of ignorance and depravity, in this case. This, despite being my personal opinion, is an opinion shared by hundreds, if not thousands of other roleplayers out there. I've noticed (in my visits to 20+ Wolf RPG sites) that most of the Wolf RPers have adopted a kind of 'pack mentality', which makes them unbearable to be around. So... you're right in the sense that lame-brains like TheHackerGuy do not fit into the 'caliber' of WolfRPers. No... they're something much worse.But I didn't come here to get into a debate over Wolf RPGs. The only reason I'm venting my feelings is because I've been mistreated by those sites in ways too hideous to recount. *sigh* I hope Wetpaint will -someday- see fit put constraints on them. Only nine more days to go.... Do you find this valuable? |
