Can't edit my profile

I have not been able to add music from the "other widget" because the "other widget" doesn't show up under widgets. I haven't been able to do this for about 2 weeks and im getting pissed off. And all of a sudden I can't even edit my profile at all because the tool box is doing this weird thing where its a rectangle on the side and my editing area is a tiny little section that I can't even type in. PLEASE HELP!!!!

The Other Widget widget on profiles was removed a long time ago. (Summer of 2010.) Here's the walkthrough:http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/thread/4033668/%22Other+Widgets%22+for+your+Profile+Workaround As for the EasyEdit Toolbar acting weird, this is a common issue, with a simple fix. Do the following as I say, and you'll fix this easily. Go to your profile and click EasyEdit. The toolbar should be acting weird as you reported. Click on the 'Layout Zones' button. A window should pop up. Make it Double instead of Single. Save that change, then hit save on the EasyEdit Toolbar. Now click EasyEdit again, go to Layout Zones, change back to single. (Do NOT hit save on the EasyEdit Toolbar!) Now do what it is you want to your profile. When you're done, THEN you can hit save, and EasyEdit will work fine from then on. What causes the problem is not completely known, but sometimes when you erase your whole profile, it makes EasyEdit do what it is doing to you right now. -Clay Do you find this valuable? |
