Always shows Inbox(1)

No matter what site i go on, it always tell me Inbox(1).
However when i click inbox, it tell me no new messages/compliments/friends. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Make sure you go through all pages of available Friend Requests, Messages, and Compliments. Make sure you're not missing one.

If you don't find one after searching through every page, and you didn't
