Feb 8 2007, 12:45 PM EST If you forgot your username, you can find it by going to the ‘site users’ link found under the ‘Site Reports & RSS’ section (below the navigation pane) on the left side of your page. If you forgot your password, you can have it reset by clicking on the “Sign In” link and then clicking on "Forgot your password?" It will prompt you for the e-mail address you used to register your username and send you a link to change your password. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Mar 11 2008, 5:11 PM EDT Jeremy, I don't see any "Site Reports & RSS" section below the navigation pane... just "Wiki To-Dos" and "Top Contributors". Maybe this section moved in the recent redesign? Do you find this valuable? |

Mar 11 2008, 5:27 PM EDT Ah, I didn't look hard enough -- apparently the section is now called "Top Contributors". (I wasn't looking at "my page," because I don't have a page.) There's a chicken-and-egg problem here, though: I would never be able to find my username this way, because I have not created or joined any wikis under this identity. So the solution for someone in my situation would seem to be to start signing in, and click the "forgot my password" link to request a reminder by email. Jeremy, does this scan? Do you find this valuable? |
