ok so I havent been on my website for a while and I happen to forget my password. I use the email recovery but it ended up making me a new account on there and so I cant get on to fix my website at all. please help! I'm very frustrated

Wetpaint does not create accounts when the forget password link is used. It only reports back based on the email address used when an account was created. It is only possible to have one email address per account.Many get caught up trying to fool the system by entering a fake email account. And when a problem occurs, the cannot get information from WP via that fake email address. Are you using the correct email address when you created your wiki? Do you find this valuable? |

Alright well then I use to emails one for yahoo and one for google. but it only recognized yahoo which is weird sense it sent me a recovery email for an account I don't remember creating.

Wetpaint is not responding to any emails from the moderators. Until they open a line of communications with the moderators we can only tell the members, there is nothing we can do about it.Do you find this valuable? |
