Here is what I know about "I/O error message #2038"1. It is a catch all error message from Adobe Flash Uploader when it does not know exactly what the cause is. 2. An antivirus or firewall or using a proxy server can cause this if the url transfer is blocked by either. 3. Firefox will give this error when switching tabs while the transfer is in progress. 4. Sometimes batch uploads will create this problem 5. IE 8.0 will create this error occassionaly. 6.. Last but not to be left out, is the flash uploader uses memory as a temp storage for the transfer. If there are many programs opened and depending on the size of the transfer, memory can run out creating the error. 7, Also, download the latest Flash Player at this location. get.adobe.com/flashplayer Do you find this valuable? |
