EDUCATION WIKIS AND ADVERTISING

I was told that my membership did not have advertising because it was an education site. It has been ad free for some time now, but now they have returned. What should I do to remove them? I cannot pay $19 every month - I am a UK teacher and this is for mypupils. I understood that education wikis were free and ad free? 4  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

Hi, I have the same problem. Our page is also for educational purposes (and only for educational purposes). Moreover, if there were some changes in the terms and conditions for ad-free users, why we haven't been informed about those changes in advance? Thank you for your fast reply (https://ssoshandlovawetpaint.com) 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I too am having the same problem as of today (12-7-11). I am a teacher and had an ad free site for the last few years, but the ads appeared today. Like th OP, I am unable to afford the monthly rate, but make frequent use of this with my students. Please advise. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Wetpaint rolled out a new release of their software yesterday. Upon doing so it inadvertently released all the ad-free wikis. This problem has been alerted to Wetpaint. Please be patient while they resolve this issue. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
