Question
Dec 2 2011, 11:54 AM EST | Post edited: Dec 2 2011, 11:54 AM EST
I saw many, truly many sites that have been using tables. Of course, almost everyone use it. But recently I saw some sites whom tables are lined with different colors. I tried to do it many times, but I just can't succeed. How to change the line color (NOT the table's inside color)?
If I confused everyone out too much, I will send a link where one site used that different line color.

Making table borders is quite simple if you know the technique behind it. The technique is to use nested tables to create the effect. Nested means a table within a table within a table. It sounds complicated but really isn't.

See this page on Splats2 for step by step instructions on how to create a table border. (Take a look around for other fun things to do with tables)

I know what nested tables are, but the lining, the lining of the table. Here's the link of the site that has it. It's inactive but I saw it recently. Under the picture saying "navigation" is the table with the different line colors. Do you find this valuable?

The page on Splats2 will show you how to color the borders (or as you say lining) If you take a moment to read through the instructions, you will be able to create a better looking border than what is on your quoted wiki.
