Posts run out of the text box and aren't visible

The display stops, but the text keeps going...
Also, sometimes the "Post reply" and "Quote & reply" buttons don't appear.
This problem makes the site almost useless!
The site is very slow. Have you considered that you have too many advertisements (many of which rely on cookies on my machine)?
You can find a screen-shot here...

Hold the CTRL key down while scrolling your mouse scroll wheel downward. This should bring the text into view.

You can (wet) paint me surprised that the zoom factor had any effect at all... it DID allow some of the text to re-size into view, but by the time it is all back within the confines of the text box it's too small to read. I suppose I could re-install the Microsoft magnifying tool but I doubt that was the design intent of the site.
Thanks for the quick reply... it almost solved my issue (at least the one with this discussion, haw haw).

I don't suppose you have any advice for my unreasonable fear of heights?
;)

jdavis, if you have FireFox, you can use the Firebug Add-On and inspect the "hidden" post and make it smaller to see the features of "Post Reply" and "Quote & Reply" if scrolling doesn't work. (For future refrence.)

After examining the image sent, I noticed the right border was in the screen shot. This led to further investigation. The thread format was correct for display. This could only mean there was an unbroken large sentence or a large URL address posted in the thread. Wetpaint sometimes has a difficult time finding a breaking point to insert a line feed in some text when the end of the thread text form is reached. This will create a situation where the entire sentence or URL will be displayed on one line causing the text to spread the screen to accommodate the entry. forcing the right side of the screen out of view. Thus the post/quote/reply buttons are pushed out of view.

I manage to find the thread in question. There is a large Google image address in the post. This could be the problem.

Suggestion: When working with large URL links addresses, it is best to use Tinyurl;.com to make the address smaller. This will prevent the situation that we see on that thread.

THAT was it... I broke it and then raised a stink about it.
Thanks for the help, keep up the good work!
