One missing site of three
Nov 15 2011, 5:09 PM EST | Post edited: Nov 15 2011, 5:09 PM EST
I started 3 Wetpaint sites. Two work fine, the 3rd has vanished. It is TrinityMews.wetpaint.com. A search for Trinity Mews also produces nothing. I'm using Windows 7 and Firefox 8,. Another user has also reported thay she cannot access it but I do not know her OS or browser.
Anyone know what has gone wrong?

Hi JayGeeBSE,

It seems it doesn't exist. Did you ever ask Wetpaint to delete the site?
Are you sure the URL is correct?
Does it show up when you click the "My Wetpaint" at the top of Wetpaint wikis?

It certainly did exist in the past. I never asked Wetpaint to delete it and there were never any other contributors who could have done so. I've a written record of the URL, and anyway a search of known words used on the site fails to find it. And it's not in "My Wetpaint".

I guess it has been deleted - possibly due to inactivity. I'll have to start again, but probably not with Wetpaint this time.

I have tried 20 different search engines using advanced search criteria. I can only find 1 site you are listed on. That is the Parham Model Flying Club. The only sites on the internet with regards to Trinity Mews are local home sales and a vetenary service.

May I ask what the other wiki site that you created. This may give me a clue.

Wetpaint does not automatically delete wikis due to inactivity. There are many inactive wikis that were created as far back as 2006. I have seen your presence on Wetpaint dating back to 2009.

Thank you for putting in so much effort. My other site, which you failed to find is heronbse.wetpaint.com. That is working fine. My name does appear on it.

I'll have to check out why you found a reference to a business - it is a breach of lease to run a business from the flats, though we probably would not press the point if it creates no nuisance to others. Though there are other Trinity Mews in UK.

PROBLEM SOLVED: Some idiot (ie ME) incorrectly recorded the name of the site. It is called TMMCL and if you enter that it works perfectly!

Thanks to all or who tried to help. Of course this does not explain why we all failed to find the site by searches.
