reduce your fees!!!

I love wetpaint but the cost of premium services is not competitive. I currently pay for webhosting for a cost of $7 per month yet the wetpaint premium is $19 per month. This doesn't seem fair. I would like to continue my wetpaint but I have to have the ads removed because it use the site with primary school children and the headteacher doesn't want to have the ads included. Can you PLEASE take another look at educational establishments in your pricing structure

Thanks, Cheryl Morgan, Raglan Domesday Wiki

I currently pay for an ad free site for the university but I am starting to look at other option because $19 a month is just too much compared to other sites. I have even emailed Wetpaint asking about a discount for nonprofits and educational groups, but no response. Please consider a reduced fee for folks like us. I pay $60 a year to another webhosting group- that is much more reasonable. Please give a response. I would even be OK with one section of ads on the page but not all that is currently on there- it is just too many ads and too high of a price. Do you find this valuable?

You will not get a reply from Wetpaint because they will not reply to emails or issues with the Wiki Platform. They have ignored us Moderators and the rest of the Community.

We can not reduce Wetpaint's prices, and they wont do it themselves.

I would suggest that for your class(es) or group(s) you use FireFox and download the add-on: AdBlock Plus. This will prevent you from paying the $20 per month fee, and prevent your student(s) or group(s) from seeing the ads.

FireFox download link: www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
AdBlock Add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus

In the future, if you have a question or an issue, please make your own thread for that instead of bringing up an old dead one. Thanks!
