Oct 28 2011, 1:52 AM EDT | Post edited: Oct 28 2011, 1:52 AM EDT
I can't create an account... Because my email is 'Apparently' already being used by another user. No one knows my password to that account as far as I know. I have not told any one, nor write it anywhere someone could find it and easily access my account???? I use my email lots for: FaceBoook, YouTube, Online Games and RolePlay WebSites...... etc I would appreciate if someone could help me? Do you find this valuable?

Chances are that no one has your email address aside from you. The message you are receiving normally means that one is trying to create a second account using the same email address as the first account. Did you in the past, create an account using the same email address?
If so, you will have to use a different email address on the new account.

Wetpaint only allows for a unique name associated with a unique email address.

Oftentimes what happens is when creating an account one realizes that they don;t want that username or there is a typo in the username, so they try to correct it after the account process is complete using their email address. When they go to create the correct username, using their email address. Wetaint will say the email address is in use.

If the above scenario is the case follow instructions below.
To correct the problem.
Login with the old username.
Go to the profile of that username
Select Preferences and email notifications
Then select Change email and password
Under the email option change the email address to some other email that you are using. Select a ficticious email address
Then save your changes.
Now you can create a new account with the proper username and email address.
