WIKI GLITCHES.

Once again I am finding that posts are going missing, icons and photos can't be seen, it takes forever to go from one wiki to another. Some days are worse than others. Anyone else having these glitches? Its been just over a week now.

I know what you are talking about ... we have had numerous issues on our wiki as well.Actually it is like a laundry list of issues. Tables have been a nightmare for quite some time ... there are little work arounds for some of the problems, but not all members know about them and this requires a lot of editing. The time involved in this is huge, not to mention that you hate to edit other peoples work, but if it wasn't done the site would look a total mess. Spammers have been at an all time high on our site and the time involved in dealing with them is huge also!! I know in another thread it was mentioned that we could IP ban these people/machines, but I am only aware that we can ban their username, and lets face it that list is infinite!! Pages loading, or more accurately not loading, has become crazy ... not long ago pages were taking a long time to load, now they just don't load. I am sure I don't have to tell you how much time is sucked down the drain waiting for all of this!! Posts not posted and messages not opening ... you get that idea I am sure. I love working on wiki sites but lately it has been an exercise in total futility ... by the time you moderate the site and deal with the"cleanup" there is precious little time to make contributions to grow the site. Over the past year or so there have been site issues more times than not, sooooo I will only post when our site is working "normally" ... don't expect to hear from me any time soon! :) 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

A few times now in the past week or so, I have wanted to go from one page to another only to find I'm still stuck on the first page. It has taken up to 3 attempts to move on. The sites will sometimes give a little "jump" as well. The browser button in the photo box has not been connecting to its proper place as well. So therefore I have to stop doing photos from time to time. Do you find this valuable? |

Now if I add a new page, it doesn't appear to show up as part of the next numbered page in the navigation box. I have moved them but they are now just sub pages that appear to not exist.

Its the 11th of the 11th month and I am still have trouble accessing pages. The dots just go round and round and round. I have to connect through by pressing the 'My wetpaint' link at the top of the page. How come it works by doing this?
