later to a page you have created. I forgot to add the template when I created the page.
Do you have to be a moderator to do that?
Thanks.

Templates are only used when creating a NEW page. That is where the option is located. One is given the option to create a blank page or use one of the existing templates. There is no way to use a template after the page has been created without some manipulation.

The only ways to get existing data from a previously created page into a template is to

- create a new page, select the template for the page, copy the template(select all and ctrl-c) then paste it into the old page with the existing content. Then cut and paste the data into the form on the old page. Then delete the newly created page

OR

- create a new page with the template form and copy and paste the data from the old page to the new page. The names of the pages cannot be the same. After the copy/paste is done delete the old page.
