website loading slowly for me

i've been on this website for a couple days and its been loading slowly i'm using firefox Do you find this valuable?

Hello,

You are not alone, I have been experiencing the same problem. This should only be a temporary server-related issue and wiki's should be at full speed soon. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I've got college students trying to post assignments. The speed of response is totally unacceptable and will probably send me to another wiki provider. This is a bad example of using technology for education. If they can't post, we're dead. Do you find this valuable?

We are currently conducting database maintenance which required we take some of the slave database machines out of the pool. This is causing the slowness that everyone is seeing. We should start seeing things speed up as repairs are finished up and we are able to add them back into the pool. Do you find this valuable?

Wetpaint loads really quickly until I sign in - then it goes slow... e.e

I don't know if you have finished yet or not Jeremy, but sometimes my notifications don't connect through to the wiki's. I just get a blank page or it takes 3-4 minutes to show up.
Still getting a lag in changing wikis and in posting. But there is a definate improvement. Do you find this valuable?

Things improved on Saturday, but downloads, posts, etc. are at a snail's pace again. Do you find this valuable?

Yep..today went almost back to the way it was. Maybe Wetpaint are still taking off some off some of the databases for maintenance? Do you find this valuable?

Sunday night - no improvement in loading time. I appreciate the difficulty in keeping up with the demand, but the slow loading time makes the site relatively useless and very frustrating as a vehicle for students who are trying to make assignment deadlines. Any idea when this will be better? Do you find this valuable?

I have found a big improvement in the last few hours. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
