Site glitches.

Most of the icon pictures aren't turning up. Recent fan art pics and photographs aren't showing up either. It takes a while for pages to load sometimes as the dots just keep going around and around. It also can take awhile on some occassions to go from one wiki to another. Anyone else having problems? 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

Same here. Wetpaint was even spazzing out and not showing up earlier when I was editing and now picture's are deleting themselves for me when I add them. >>

Yeah, I'm having issues and I can't even add pics! It's really slow and when I cancel the pic upload, it crashes me every time..Also, I'm using Firefox 3.6 since 4 isn't very, eh..and IE doesn't work for me. I doubt it's my browser but adding images, and viewing them is now impossible. :[

Im using Internet Explorer.Itll just sit there and load and load when i try to add a picture. Itll say its loaded ; and the picture will either not show at all or be a little red X. extremely frustrating. 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

I'm having the same problem, Site banner, Profile pic, and at one point none of us had profile pics. this is on a couple of sites, one where i'm a mod and one where i'm an admin. seems that alot of people are haing this problem at the moment though.

I'm a mod and creator and suffer, on main pages and my profiles. I also agree this is a server issue.

I agree. I literally JUST made a new website called Cinderstar about a week ago and when I added a pic (not the first one) for some reason the text right above it would keep moving around the picture. Now, picures will come up with the white box and red 'X' or they won't even load.

After the last maintence was done everything was fine.... until they took off that stupid fantapper stuff. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

The mods won't know anything. Its up to Jeremy when he sees this thread or if someone has emailed or pm'd him about it. Depending on how easily it can be fixed, it could even be Monday before it gets fixed.

"i wish we would get some kind of responce from mods && such."Like Bells said, we Moderators do not have access to Wetpaint's Servers, so we can not fix any problems you guys are having. If we did, trust me, i'm sure these bugs would be fixed faster than they normally get fixed. Anyways, I filled this problem with Jeremy. Since it's Friday, I doubt they will get this fixed today, and since they don't work on the weekend, it'll be Monday or later when this is looked at and/or fixed. -Clay 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Yesterday, Thursday July 28, Wetpaint took the entire system off-line for about 5 minutes, probably to reboot one of the servers. My best estimation it was the image server. It was probably filling up with error messages, which we have seen in the past with other servers. I can also imagine the image server needs to catch up and resync itself to the rest of the servers. So, patience is needed now, until that process is complete. You may see some lag in displaying the images on your pages, members icons, banners. etc. This is just an educated guess as to what the community is seeing. Until WP actually explains what went array, we can only live with the delay of getting our images displayed properly and quickly on our wikis. So hang in there... 7 out of 8 found this valuable.
