This isn't a bug, but I dunno what else to do... This site has stolen content from mine, and refuses to take it down. And as far as I know, the banner they are using is stolen as well. The person who stole the stuff is known as Eclipse, her Chatango user is xXTwilightWolvesXx and her Wetpaint user is xXTwilightWolvesXx also. The site is: http://jointhenightshades.wetpaint.com/ (Hierarchy page, Rules page, and Alliances page.) My site is: http://sanguineoblivionrpg.wetpaint.com/ 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Yes it does. It gives you CLEAR and DIRECT information on how to claim copyright Infringement. Maybe if you looked a LITTLE closer, you'd see that.Clearly, you didn't read through all of it, and skipped. Possibly cause you are too lazy, like some users are? Excuse the flame, but even when the answer is right in their face, users feign ignorance to the answer. I suggest re-reading it. Also read Q and A's 1, 2, 4, and 5. THOSE are your answers you are feigning ignorance to. I can NOT make it ANY clearer. If you can't understand the page above, that's your fault, not mine, and no one can help you with that. -Clay 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

While Clay is going a little overboard... I suppose maybe cause you were being slightly demanding... I have to agree, if you actually read the page you should have all the information needed to report Copyright Infringement. The page asks for you to read section 3 of the Terms of Use. Which clearly will outline how you can report Copyright Infringement. Terms of Use: http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/terms You can report it by mail, phone, fax, or email. Just make sure to provide the necessary information that is outlined. Thanks, Patrick 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

I agree, I WAS over-stepping my boundaries, but every now-and-then, there is a user who feigns ignorance, or is simply lazy. For example:Say a user posts asking why their Easy Edit isn't working right, such as there being buttons missing. I reply saying: Make sure you have a supported browser: http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Browser+Support They reply later: What browsers are supported??? See my point? They feign ignorance, and are too lazy to click the link given to them. This has happened in the past. They want to be given the information instead of having to look for it, or doing work to find their answer. (Such as clicking a link.) I figured you were one of those users, and I will explain why. Vulture posted this thread under: Report a Bug (Which as I posted, I moved it to Copyright Infringement.), saying that you were stealing content, or whatever. I replied saying: I moved this thread to the appropriate page. Click the page name above this thread and read what to do. You, Alice, posted saying: That doesnt give me any information AT ALL. That person stole MY header banner that I made for MY site and said it was hers. I want it removed, NOW. More to be posted... Do you find this valuable? |

That is basically what I was talking about above. You were being like the other users and didn't want to do as I directed, and wanted the information posted for you, instead of you doing the work. That's what I saw when you posted your reply. If that isn't what you meant, I apologize for the flame, but it REALLY ticks me off when someone is like that, and says that that wasn't helpful, or it didn't give no information, when all they have to do is do what they are told to do to get the information they want. Most users want what Patrick posted above. The basic information. Though i'm sure if he were to post that on another thread about Copyright Infringement, and the user was like those we get now and again, he'd ask Patrick to post Section 3 of the ToS. See my point? Again, i'm sorry for the flame. -Clay Do you find this valuable? |
