It is most difficult to manage my wiki. Here are some of the things that I have experienced this morning.
1. Creation of a new page goes to un-categorized.
2. Can't move page from un-categorized without getting "Error Occurred" message
3. Updates do not display the changes in the Site Activity report. Can only be viewed and accessed via the Pages tab on the dashboard. And sometimes the changes will not be displayed there either.
4. Duplicate pages appearing in the Navigational panel. My June Newsletter is appearing twice in different places in the panel.
5. Refreshing the screen as a normal solution to the sync problem is not working well either. A simple refresh on a thread may bring me to the Search Results screen.
6. Lag in loading pages has taken my high dollar PC and Internet connection back to the 1980s when I had a 4 mhz 8080 processor and 300 baud modem. Access to Wetpaint wikis has become overburdened in awaiting third party servers to load.

I do not know how to take a screenshot of these problems to show as proof they are happening. So you will have to take my word.

At times I feel like Wetpaint is trying to give me a road-side sobriety test, which I can pass easily, but the tester is always making me fail. Say the alphabet backwards, in a monotone voice, while holding your left leg and left arm in the air while spinning a hula hoop with your right arm.

How interesting, that problems as damaging as these never occurred prior to Wetpaint's business decision to switch over to the celebrity gossip market and ditch the wikis. Sure, they say they are working on it, but the fact remains that if they were working on it as hard as they used to, these problems wouldn't keep coming back. I wouldn't dare create a new site on the Wetpaint network now. I'd be too afraid of losing all my content, or having to deal with problems such as these every month. I suggest you move to another platform... How funny would that be? A Wetpaint tips and tricks site that isn't even on the Wetpaint network.

I cannot move pages. The dashboard and page activity shows the page has been moved, but the page does not appear in the navigational pane. The page in question is the July 2011 Newsletter. I have several more pages to move before July 1. So I would be extremely appreciative to an answer from Wetpaint here. Do you find this valuable?

There's only one person left on this site who still works for Wetpaint. Sometimes no answer is as much of an answer as you're going to get.

Jeremy tells me that Wetpaint has noticed some lagging lately on the wiki platform, and that the company is planning to do something about it. We'll see what they can do.

Oh I can Answer CryingDrove Question Drove keep refreshing the page your page has move and trust I gotted this on my wiki aswell and I keep rereshing it and thier everything comes back to normal Do you find this valuable?

I have been trying to move my newsletter page all day. It does not show up on the navigational pane at all, but does so on the updates activity report. Numerous refreshes have been made. Has anyone else tried to move a page today? Do you find this valuable?

Do you Mean Your June 2011 Newsletter Page why becaues I can see in the Navigational Pan Also This Strange? It says that your June 2011 is In Newsletter Archive Then it says in feely on the Navigational Pane this is strange? Do you find this valuable?

Not only does it show the June Newsletter in two positions on the navigational pane,. but I had to delete the entire contents of the July Newsletter( one with the Fantapper icon on the image) before I could move the page. That page would simply not move at all. Once the content was deleted I was able to move the July Newsletter.

I am tired of spending an enormous amount of time to get a 5 second process performed.

Update on the garbage truck.

The June Newsletter. I deleted the page and it removed the two occurrences of the page. I restored the page and both came back. I copied the contents of the page and deleted it. I had to create a new page with a different name. Pasted the contents and that corrected the rogue page issue.

I then edited the blank July Newsletter page. I took almost three minutes awaiting the progress circle to finish to load the blank page. The same occurred when saving the page.

P.S.
Does it not seem strange that almost 12 hours have elapsed between the last post here on WPC and this one? Do you find this valuable?

so what is there a way to move your wetpaint site to a less...problematic website host? Do you find this valuable?

There are a number of other web hosts out there. Most of them do not have as many issues as Wetpaint, but I've found that few can compare in terms of features offered... So it's a tough decision. Do you find this valuable?

Sorry ^_^; will do, just didn't think it to be severe enough form of hatred to do so :p curious you being a relative high ranking member here. Is wetpaint going to be less...annoying? It seems even the sites mods are getting pissed and leaving Do you find this valuable?

These spammers are repeated offenders, so it's good enough to report.. :)
As for your question, I don't know. Now that Cameron's gone, i'm the main Mod active enough to catch these spammers and ban and delete their post.
We need more active ones, if you ask me. Do you find this valuable?

The issue here was the dual page entry on my wiki. I fixed it. And now this thread is being taken off topic as usual. Can a moderator lock this thread? Do you find this valuable?
