Shading Tables... HELP!

I heard that you can shade tables, by putting one on top of another. (In different colors..)
But whenever I try to do it, the table on the outside gets bigger instead of staying the same size.
Does anyone here know how to do it?

What do you mean by 'the outside gets bigger?'

I believe the solution to your problem will be clicking on the tables, clicking 'Edit Table' and changing the 'Cell Margins' to 0.

I think their problem is both tables are set to fit to page. If they set both tables to a width that are not fit to page but different. Like the inner table 400 pixes and the outer table 400 pixes it would create a 100 pixes border around the inner table. Then make the outer table a different color, It would look cool. I think. I meant 400 pixes on the inner table and 500 pixes on the outer table. So stupid of me.

If you make the inner table bigger, it will merely stretch the outer table. This is not a problem if you change the margins to 0.
