RSS Feeds, Most work but Blogger don't

I have been using the RSS Feed link tool successfully for a few different blogs but when I attempt to use it for Blogger.com, which supports ATOM, they don't work. http://adeta.wetpaint.com/page/RSS+Feeds is the site. I have had to manually link to the postings from the blogspot.com ones. Do you find this valuable? |

RSS from scratch.mit.edu also reports an error. I wonder about that widget :-(

Those Blogger feeds are not RSS feeds. They're defined as atom feeds and don't contain the header declarations for RSS.However, there is a trick. From: http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?answer=42662&query=RSS&topic=&type=f "All site feeds are published in Atom 1.0 format. However, if you add ?alt=rss to the end of any site feed URL, you can get the same feed in RSS 2.0 format." So, to use one of your feed urls as an example: http://pypictplans.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss I was able to add that feed to http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Activities I was also able to add that image that you linked. If you're still having trouble, let me know what browser and OS you're using. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Thanks very much for the instant service - It's a Mac OS 3.9 and 10.4 with FIrefox 2.0.0.12 (different computers:-) I'll tr the image placement on a PC and see if it works for me.Thanks again Do you find this valuable? |
