Trying to advertise real life products on wetpaint sites.

There's this guy (maybe..) named lloydenterprises that just joins sites and edits his profile with links to things to buy like buying links and and buying backlinks. I've see him on a few sites and he always has the same picture. I only have mod+ power on about two of the four or five sites I've found him on.
What should I/we do?

Ban the user. Those are spam advertisers that join sites to advertise a product/service. Sometimes, porn advertisers advertise dating sites and porn sites, so ban any users advertising a product/service. Do you find this valuable?

The "person" you keep seeing is most likely a spam bot, as a computer routine programmed to automatically join wikis and post advertising.
Even if for some reason it's not, advertising is a major infringement of the rules on Wetpaint Central, and I assume it must also be on at least most of the more "private" wikis. Isn't there a policy on your wikis against this stuff?
Assuming there is, you can and you should ban that advertiser and (most likely) bot account on the wikis you have moderator privileges, and you can report this to the mods on the wikis where you're not one of them.

ETA:
And this time it was Naru who beat me by less than a minute, even if the OP had been 40 minutes ago already! LOL. Whatever... My post can't hurt.

Agreed. just ban the user. They expect you to do it and might not even be a person. Do you find this valuable?

Yup..he's a spammer..send him no message...just ban him or anyone else that puts stuff like that on. We have had some sneaky spammers. They come on and add a few "nice" remarks on a couple of threads, and then add in crap halfway through another posting. They may even wait a few hours or a day before they do it.
