FOR ANYONE WHO IS A WRITER

A few questions:

1. How long did it take you to become a writer?

2. How many contributiions did you have when you ecame a writer?

3. How many times did you apply to become a writer? Do you find this valuable?

It depends on the wiki moderation team of the wiki you are applying to be a writer. You will have to ask the team on the wiki how they make their decisions and how long it may take.

If you are taling about Wetpaint Central, being a writer means you can create a page, but not many writers do. Or they are able to upload screenshots to the photo gallery for troubleshooting purposes. That is it.

Every page on this wiki is locked with the exception of new pages created by a writer. So a writer cannot change any content on existing pages unless a moderator or above removes the lock on the page.

If a writer believes they have a valuable contribution to a page, I am always more than happy to unlock the page for them. Do you find this valuable?

Asking stupid questions like this will definitely not make you a writer. You'll just appear as a wanna-be to everyone.

The stupid question is the question not asked. I am a writer here on WPC, and I would have been a moderator on my previous account, had I not gotten grounded for bad grades causing me to be inactive. I asked this question a few times. I was only a beginner, and was a "wanna-be". But now I'm a writer.

@nbotte22 If you help users with the right information, stay active, and use proper grammar, you will become a writer here someday. On other wikis, I don't know how people run their wikis, but normally being a good user, posting a lot, and being willing to help does the trick. Do you find this valuable?
