Hi Kitty, To add a content moudule such as Hot Discussions, easy edit the page and select Content Modules from the toolbar. Then select Hot Discussions from the list of different modules. to add that module. The default color scheme will match the site style scheme. You can change the colors and type of slide show the module uses by editing the module itself before clicking done to add the module.

I could be wrong and CryingDove certainly knows best, but I really don't think there is any way to do that at all...
Nevertheless, the primary use for the hot discussions module is to highlight the recent replies to threads, and on the discussion forum pages, the recently replied threads are bumped to the top of the thread list anyway (as long as they're ordered by "most recent", as it is by default), so I really don't see much use for a module like this on the discussion forum page itself...
Sorry if this wasn't too helpful, but that's how I feel...

The only way is for a moderator to create a category in the discussions area titled "Hot Discussions". Then monitor the other threads that they deem "Hot" and move them to the category "Hot Discussions". Works for me.
