When I Search for my Website with Search Engine I do not find my site

I searched for my website with search engine and it is no where to be found. Why? How do we post it so it can be found with a search engine.?
Please help immediately.

Try reading through some of the pages linked here on Search Engine Optimization. It will tell you how better the chances of finding your site on a search. Here is a link and follow the links supplied on that page and in the left navigational panel that deals with SEO.
