"I'm a member of Warriors Insight and another site called Silverstar2. Silverstar2 has more thread posts and and contributions weekly than Warriors Insight. Just saying that your list is bull."The wetpaint 100 focuses on other things other than posts/contributions. Plus, the list hasn't been updated for a bit so no worries. Be happy that it gets updated at all. Do you find this valuable? |

1. The site needs to be around for 1 month before it can go on the Wetpaint Top 100.2. Just because it is active, does not mean it will be on the list. Other wikis have a lot of activity too. Do you find this valuable? |

The list is computer calculated. The values of contributions (thread and Page) are added for all sites over a month old. Then that list is sorted by the value. Highest value being first. Making several minor changes to a page, may not appear to a member as any activity is being done. I trust the numbers that are crunched by a computer to be true.

I put that list on the page on the 22nd of January. The data is for the week of 15th of January to the 21rst of January. The list is almost a month old.
Do you find this valuable?

I realize the list is old. I also never said that my site is the most active site. I simply suggested that's more active another site. I know because I'm members of both. The Weekly Digest gives you a fair idea of how active your site is. One of the my sites is far more active than a site on that list. My site isn't even on the list. It's certainly more active than the 100 placed site.

To ease your mind a little. The list will probably not be produced anymore. Wetpaint does not have the time to draw the raw data from the database (which you say is incorrect, in which you could be abosultely correct in saying. Who knows when that list was drawn from the database? May have been an old list). So you may be seeing the last update to that page.Do you find this valuable? |

That would be terrible! I love the wetpaint 100, even if its slow to update. Even if the list isn't always brand new, it still gives you a good idea of the great and active sites out there. I would never have known most of the sites I do know with out the WP100. Plus, it gives sites, including mine, something to strive for. Its a great thing to have! I really hope it keeps being produced, even if not as often as most people would like. Do you find this valuable? |

Well, I honestly think Wetpaint has more important things to focus on at the moment. The glitches are back again.

I'm not saying it should be a main focus, of course other more important things should come first, like glitches or site features, but it shouldn't be completely knocked off. At the bottom of the list is still on the list, which is better than nothing!

Yeah, pretty much. In fact, they've admitted it on the above thread. The Entertainment Platform brings revenue to Wetpaint. Any normal business would pursue & focus on the most profitable aspect of their company. I mean, it's unfortunate that they spend their time working on the Entertainment Platform, but Wetpaint is a business.

Wetpaint has every right to focus on the most profitable part of their industry. It's also understandable for the wikis to get a bit angry for being ignored. Wetpaint needs to find a balance.
