Hihttp://www.thecelticwiki.com/ The site I work on as above uses Albums heavily and we have around 140 so far!!!! We'd like to ask the following. 1) Can you add Albums to search results? At the moment Albums don't appear in the search results, and it would be good if they did. Also maybe have a tab for Album results only? 2) Can you add sort options. You can't sort Albums, can you add it such that you can sort the Albums by "Name", "Date Created", "Date Saved" etc 3) Can you have it such that the pictures are not fuzzy if you resize the album widget? When I do so pictures look messy, can you fix that somehow? If you have any questions for me then don't hesitate to ask. rgds Do you find this valuable?

Wetpaint is not developing any new features. But:1. Splats2 can show you how to put a search album widget onto your wiki. Or if you give me permission to do so, I can add a page for album searching. 2. The only thing the widget will allow is to see the order of which the photo was created in the album by Latest, Last week, Last month, Last year or a custom date range. 3. Anytime a photo is resized away from its original size quality will be lost. To prevent this from happening, always select "Original Size" to place the photo onto a page or even viewing in the photo gallery. Other than what has been stated here, Wetpaint will not help you in this matter. Do you find this valuable? |

"What's splats2 or how can i do it?"Splats2 is my technical wiki. (Civic Superstar Golden Paint Can Winner 2010). My site has supplied more work-around features than WP has provided features across the past 3 years. If you would like to do it, it would require: 1. Copy HTML code that I would setup for your wiki. 2. Upload that code as an attachment 3. Grab the URL of that attachment and put it into an iframe code. 4. Place the iframe code onto a page. 5. This would have to be done for two types of searches. One for album searching and another for photos in an album 6. Three pages will needed to be created. One for the search selection type and the two others for the search result screens themselves. Do you find this valuable? |
