Can't sign in

Hi @wetpaint,
I joined ericsarea5 and did not receive any "welcome" email and now I also cannot sign in? My username is white.lily
Any idea what's wrong?

The email server is down right now. So no emails will be received until it is fixed. You are a member of that wiki since Dec 29,2010. As far as signing into the wiki, do the following:
1. Make sure your login name and password are correct.
2. Make sure you have cookies enabled on your browser.
3. Clear your cache and cookies and retry signing in.

Hi,
I think I read somewhere that an email should be received upon signing up which I haven't. I have worked through all three points you listed and tried again. No luck so far. Moreover I'm using a Firefox so the browser should be fine as well.
I also checked the sign-in FAQ section and added wetpaint to my white list in my email account to avoid any emails being redirected as spam.
So, I have no ideas what else to try?!

In the process of your troubleshooting, did you try to reset your password? If so, then you will have to wait until Wetpaint fixes their email server. Right now it is down.

Yes, it is true, but like CryingDove stated, the email server is currently down. You won't receive emails for anything, even registration, until the bugs are fixed and emails are re-enabled. Please be patient while Wetpaint work to fix the bugs.

I will remain patient. As I'm pretty new to wetpaint is there any section I can bookmark to check if the problem is fixed?

Keep an eye on the main page of WPC. Click on the banner at the top of this page and it will bring you to the main page. From there WP will post any news about problems or fixes.
