Glitch regarding profile tables / Formatting issue

Hello~Well, I'll try to be prompt. On a wetpaint I have been updating my profile -- normal -- but whenever I add a table or type in an existing table that has been added since this problem has begun to occur, I can use any font, any color, and bold or underline text, but it is italicized. The italicized "I" on the EasyEdit toolbar is highlighted, and when I click it it stays highlighted. If I were to copy-and-paste text, it would instantly be italicized. It doesn't seem to be on any other page or site. Do you find this valuable? |

If you create a table with the "italicized" option turned on, the whole table will automatically format any text imputed to an italicized font. In addition, you cannot get rid of the italicized text option. Now, you may ask, how do you fix this? First off, you need to delete the table. Once you delete the table, make sure the italicized text option on the Easy Edit Bar is not highlighted. Once this is completed, you can add another table to the page and edit freely. This is an on-going bug on Wetpaint that has been present since I've been a member, which is around 2-3 years. Please follow the above instructions for a solution. If you have any further questions, please reply. -Matt Do you find this valuable? |

An adjunct to what WWS has stated. The bug in the table was addressed and an extra button was put into the easy edit toolbar. The remove attribute button. It is to the right of the Underscore text attribute tool. You will see ABC on top of an eraser. If you select all the blank space in the table by left clicking the mouse and dragging the cursor down through the blank space. This should highlight anything in the blank space. Then click on the remove attribute tool. This should clear any special treatment of the font. This can be used, when you cannot clear any font size, font color or attribute in tables that already have content in them. Do you find this valuable? |
