Adding a link to a photo which is already on site

How do I add a link to a photo which is already on my Wetapint site. The only way I have found is to delete it and re-upload it to the site. This is not practical as I have 100s of photos I need to add links to.

You mean the photos on a page, or in the photo gallery? If you mean on a page, click Easy Edit, click on the image, then click "Add link" and simply go from there.

Thank you for that, but what about the ones in the photo gallery? Can a link be added to them once they are in the gallery? Do you find this valuable?

Another related question. How do you acccess the link in the photo gallery. I have photos which I know have links but I cannot seem to get to the link. Do you find this valuable?

Right Click on any photo whether it be on a page or in the gallery. From the menu select Copy URL location. That is the link to the photo. When you want to use that photo, easy edit and select add photo, Select from the internet, and paste the url address into the window.

Another way to get the link to any photo in the gallery is to click on the photo and the link will appear for that photo in your browser's address window. Simply highlight the text starting with http// and copy it. Now you have a link associated with that photo. Do you find this valuable?

Thanking you for your reply. It is much appreciated.

I am also looking at it from another angle. I want people who look at the photo gallery to be able to click on a photo and go to the related page. So I am trying to link photos to pages. I thought I had entered links from some photos to the right page but it doesn't seem to work. I cannot find how to enter links after the photo is in the gallery. Do you find this valuable?

Photos in the gallery will not show which pages they have been added to, but you could place links to those pages in the photo's description if you wanted. The only downside to this method is that it requires a lot of manual work if you have many photos. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
