Slow wiki's
Nov 11 2010, 2:33 AM EST | Post edited: Nov 11 2010, 2:33 AM EST
I am finding it terribly slow for messages to open and close. And the wiki's are taking an awful long time to load. The dots go round and round on a lot of occasions even when changing to another discussion. Do you find this valuable?

I agree. I have noticed it too. The wikis take a while to load, but I am not having any problems with messages, but every now and then, the loading circle on messages appear and stays there. The message doesn't load, and I have to click the X and Click on the message again.

Wetpaint has been running slightly slow, and my biggest problem is the Updates/What's New page, especially on WP Central. maybe Wetpaint needs to get more server space again. if i remember cleary, they said they would be getting more over the course of the next few weeks, so they probably are still getting more/

I hate to crush your wishes Bells, but Jeremy isn't around today and the next 4 days. He is out of the office, but i'm sure he'll look into it as soon as he gets back. =)

I already notified Jeremy of this particular case since I have been experiencing this for weeks now.

Hopefully everything will be fixed by next week.

All these wetpaint hiccups over the last month have caused a lot of flared tempers with posters and caused a lot of tension on all my sites. Do you find this valuable?

Plus no reply from Mads to 3 pm's and 2 posts here that haven't appeared. Goes to a 'Are you human' window then nothing after clicking. Also no Weekly Digest for my site since beginning of October. Wonder if this reply will appear?

Wow, replies work. Seems new posts dont given only a few here a day where usually hundreds.

Perhaps a Mod will at least read my above post (& PM's) and let us know if this is a Wetpaint issue still being worked on from the earlier server problems.

Yes. Any problems that were left over from the last group of problems (Like the mesages not being recieved when sent to groups such as All Moderators until like 3 days after), will continue to be worked on.
When Jeremy gets back next week, he will update us on the progress of these problems.

Well the pm's were a week ago now but thanks for the reply. I, like many many others, await some info from Wetpaint (Jeremy) so we in turn can answer the barrage of questions from OUR members too. I am sure most understand glitches & bugs but no communications to update us is what is lacking here.

Uzi.

The "All Messages" have been functioning fine lately. I haven't had many problems with them. Last week, I was experiencing some stalling issues, but that seems to have been taken care of by Wetpaint. Also, Jeremy would be communicating with you guys, however, he's away on a trip with no Internet access. Therefore, the community moderators and savy users are left to help out around here. When Jeremy gets back, he'll begin to start answering these threads and updating us on the problems Wetpaint faces. The loading problem with Wetpaint is annoying, but bearable. I only experience true problems with the Updates page on Wetpaint Central. Do you find this valuable?

I have noticed the problems aren't nearly as bad when there are a lot less users around. May still be a server problem as well? Do you find this valuable?
