I want to allow all members to add photos and videos but not add or edit pages (unless creating an album is considered adding a page). Is this possible? If so please lead me though it step by step.John 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

If you don't want users to add or edit pages, you must change the settings. They will still be able to add photos and videos when it is in Writer-Only mode. More info:http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Site+Permissions+Settings Do you find this valuable? |

If so please lead me though it step by step.You can lock individual pages that you wish to protect. A locked page can only be edited by moderators and up. To lock a page, simply select the option from the "More Tools" drop down menu at the top of any given page. Users may still upload videos or photos to the gallery, or add them on their profile pages, but they will be restricted from doing so on pages you have locked. He stated 'but not add or edit pages'. Even if you lock a page, the members can still create pages. Writer status is the only way for this to work. Do you find this valuable? |
